With the assistance of funding from the Chesapeake Bay Trust, Chestertown and the Center for Environment and Society at Washington College have jointly agreed to promote an Urban Greening Initiative to increase green canopy in Chestertown.
Recently a group of Washington College students and staff joined students from Chestertown Middle School to plant trees along Campus Avenue and Rolling Road.
