Another blistering hot week. Since the winter snows are but a distant memory I find I must approach
summer cooking from a cooling angle. i just returned from several days at the beach and was perplexed at the meal offerings.
All the restaurants that I patronized had little or no ” summer ” offerings and did not promote their local fresh foods. What a lost
opportunity . The irony was to be found in the promotion campaign for the farm market extolling the virtues of local food.
Be that as it may , I am now home and cooking or preparing meals in a non air conditioned kitchen and what to do ?
The following are some yummy recipes for the bountiful fruits and veggies found at our local farm market on Saturday and Wednesday.
